Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Cazenove Capital, Evelyn Partners, Others

, the UK wealth management and professional services group, has appointed Craig Dowsett as a financial planning director, based in its London office.

Dowsett (pictured) is a Chartered Financial Planner who specialises in working with business owners and families in all areas of their business and personal financial planning. He was previously at Vintage Wealth Management Limited where he spent more than seven years working as an independent financial advisor. Prior to that he was a professional rugby player at Rotherham Titans RUFC and received representative honours for England Students Rugby, as well as full representative honours for Belgium.

“We are really excited to have Craig join our team. His track record of working with external professional connections developing plans for SMEs and owner managed businesses make him a great addition to the team. Craig’s sporting experience playing international rugby provides him with a drive that will complement the rest of our financial planning team,” Adam Osper, managing partner in Evelyn Partners’ London office said.

“This will be a really important step in my career and I look forward to working with my new colleagues to provide our financial planning services to clients,” Dowsett said.

Cazenove Capital
has appointed Jacob Rowe as business development director for its UK wholesale distribution team.

He will be covering the South West and the Midlands serving a number of large, strategic clients and will report in Harry Reeves, head of sales UK wholesale. Rowe, who has nearly 10 years of industry experience, has joined from Russell Investments where he spent the last seven years in an intermediary distribution role.

Rowe started his career as a professional football player with Birmingham City FC at a time when they were a Premier League club. He later pivoted his career from sports towards financial services where he started with JP Morgan’s investment bank, before joining Russell Investments.

“In the current market environment, UK intermediaries continue to play a crucial role in supporting their client base and ensuring they maximise their capital during this period of economic uncertainty. Maintaining and deepening our relationships with UK intermediaries is key, and the South West remains an important region within Franklin Templeton’s UK wholesale strategy. Jacob brings valuable experience in working with the intermediary community across the UK, and we are pleased to welcome him to the team,” Reeves said.
